Today, exactly 20 years ago, India had won the Kargil War against Pakistan and it marks an important day in our nation’s history. On this occasion, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar shared an epic video of a soldier singing his song Teri Mitti from the Kesari. 

Yesterday, Akshay posted on Twitter to share a snippet of an army jawan crooning a song Teri Mitti from his film Kesari. Kesari released in March and was based on the battle of Saragarhi in which 21 Sikh soldiers took on an army of Afghans numbering over 10,000. The actor captioned the video as, "Came across this heart-warming video which made my day. When your small tribute reaches the people it’s meant for...what more can you ask for? A million salutes to our #BharatKeVeer.”
