Its Akshay Kumar vs Aamir Khan at the box office on Christmas 2020 as ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ eyeing the same release date

If the National Holiday like Independence Day is synonymous with Akshay Kumar then Aamir Khan is preferential to the festival of Christmas. Most of the latter’s films release during the Christmas holidays and go on to become huge money-spinners at the box office. However, looks like Christmas next year will be a closely fought affair as Akshay and Aamir will both battle it out with their films at the box office.

Aamir had booked the slot well in advance when he announced his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha which is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 hit film Forrest Gump. On the other hand, Akshay recently dropped the first-look poster of his upcoming film Bachchan Pandey which is also slated to release on Christmas 2020.

Akshay’s look in Bachchan Pandey, reminds one of his Rowdy Rathore days and he will once again be back in his fighter action hero avatar. On the other hand, Laal Singh Chaddha will show Aamir meeting important political and historical personalities. Othe important political and national happenings will also be shown in the film.

It would be really interesting to see who wins the battle at the box office. Hopefully, a clash will be averted and one of the film’s release dates will be adjusted.
