During one such interview, Badshah opened up about calling Kartik Aaryan an overrated actor during his appearance on Karan Johar hosted celebrity chat show- Koffee With Karan Season 6. Badshah issued a clarification and said he has no clue about the reason for having said so. In fact, the rapper went on to call Kartik a brilliant actor. Well, well, well, this is certainly a major change in a statement from Badshah.
"I don't know why I named him, maybe because we were talking about Kartik during the break. It just came out but the fact is that he is a brilliant actor with a very good script sense. When I told Kartik, I was acting, he joked, 'Beta, ab tu dekh,'" Badshah told during the interview.
Badshah
Speaking of the Koffee With Karan Season 6 incident, Badshah was quizzed as to which actor he finds overrated. Badshah, who had back then worked on Kartik's superhit film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety's music, without hesitating, named the actor. When Kartik made an appearance on the show, he was informed about the rapper's reaction to which he said, "Badshah called me overrated? But I love his work. I really appreciate his music. I mean, he's the one who has actually called me after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and said that 'Paaji, I love your work, and I loved Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety aur meri poori family aapki fan hai.' So I don't know why he said that but I really love his music. I seriously appreciate his work."
Talking about Badshah, he is making a debut with Khandaani Shafakhana. The film is about Babita 'Baby' Bedi (Sonakshi Sinha), who has to run a fertility clinic, passed on to her by her late uncle.
