We Indians are obsessed with marriage. Whether it is of our siblings, relatives, friends or even celebrities we love a big fat Indian wedding. If cricket and films are our religion then organizing marriages and matchmaking is our national hobby. So when a celebrity couple opens up about their marriage we can’t help but jump the gun and ask when are they getting married. So, when Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora finally opened up about their relationship the buzz started doing the rounds of their impending marriage.

However, the two have maintained that they are not ready to take the plunge yet in holy matrimony and are happy being in a relationship as of now enjoying the new found love. Malaika recently opened up about the marriage rumours and denied the reports. She told an entertainment channel, “In the business, everybody is at the receiving end of all of this. No one is scared of these kinds of conjectures so to speak. Like we have said, there's no marriage on the cards. I think happiness is a state of mind and yes, why go into histrionics. Yes, I am happy, why have so much explanation, yes I am happy..."

She also applauded the media for being patient and understanding. Clarifying that trolls are in a different space altogether, she said expressing her gratitude towards the media industry, “The media has been very pro. I have a lot to be grateful and thankful for because the media has genuinely been that great. Trolls have nothing to do with media; people tend to confuse that so I need to clarify.”

Arjun and Malaika had recently taken off for a romantic vacation to the New York to celebrate the former’s birthday.
