Like father, like son... says Malaika Arora

For a change, Malaika Arora posted a picture on her hotly followed Instagram account that showed the 45-year-old Bollywood celebrity not leaving her gym in sexy shorts and singlet after a sweaty workout, chilling her gorgeous body by the poolside in an itsy-bitsy bikini, or hanging out with friends at some social do in branded glamorous designer wear.

The picture was of her son Arhaan, 17, when he was a small boy. What Malaika found most remarkable was that Arhaan looked like his father and her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan when he was that age. Juxtaposing pictures of Arbaaz and Arhaan on Instagram, Malaika said, “OMG!!! Arhaan, you’re a Xerox copy of your papa.” And it is true, like father – like son in this case of striking similarity.

Interestingly, Arhaan has turned out to be unlike a regular star kid. According to Malaika, he’s a “really cool kid” who lets her be. By which, the diva who is seeing Bollywood hunk Arjun Kapoor, 34, probably means that Arhaan is not one of those kids to feel weird about anything. “He knows this is what my mom is all about and he’s cool with it and proud of it,” she revealed in a media interview.

While Malaika has never talked about what affect her divorce from Arbaaz had on their teenage son, she has said that Arhaan was aware of what’s going on around him and was pretty okay about it. Happily, Malaika and Arbaaz have managed to remain on cordial terms after their divorce and co-parent Arhaan whose custody is with Malaika. The question will sooner or later arise, especially since Arhaan is as handsome as Papa Arbaaz, and he is Salman Khan’s oldest nephew, whether there is a Bollywood launch in the pipeline for this teenager of the Khandaan. Nobody is saying anything right now.
