As soon as the teaser of Sunny Deol’s directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas dropped online yesterday several film stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar and others took to social media to welcome his son, debutant Karan Deol to Bollywood. They also extended their warm wishes to the female lead Sahher Bambba who is also making her debut with the film.
Priyanka who had worked with Sunny sixteen years ago in The Hero: Love Story of a Spy wished ‘loads of love and luck’ to Karan and Sahher. She also sent a ‘big hug’ to Sunny. Shah Rukh Khan who starred in Darr opposite Sunny also wished the debutants success for their film. Sunny and Shah Rukh were at loggerheads for sixteen long years after the former refused to speak to SRK over a fallout on the sets of Darr, but looks like Karan’s debut has broken the ice.
