It is a well-known fact now that Shah Rukh Khan who has not signed any film after his last year’s debacle Zero will be doing a cameo in R Madhavan’s directorial Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. Madhavan had made a special appearance in Zero as well. It was reported that SRK and south star Suriya have been roped in for special appearances in Hindi and Tamil versions respectively.
Now, details about Shah Rukh’s cameo have surfaced. The buzz in the media is that SRK has already shot for most of his part for the Hindi version of the film. He is reportedly playing the role of a man who interviews Madhavan’s character based on 77-year-old ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. The film is apparently going to be in flashback mode wherein Madhavan recounts his life story and the false espionage charge against him. SRK will be on the lookout to know more about Nambi and his life journey.
According to reports, Shah Rukh is not playing a media person in the film but his role will be similar to Rafe Spall from Life of Pi as although SRK might be interviewing Nambi his scenes do not involve any sort of tape recorder or mic. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is the directorial debut of Madhavan and also stars Simran in the lead.
