The makers of the upcoming multilingual historical epic Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy unveiled an announcement video today introducing its huge and stellar star cast. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Tamannaah, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichcha Sudeep, Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan and more. The film is directed by Surender Reddy and the magnum opus is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The film is presented by Farhan Akhtar’s and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment in collaboration with AA Films and Konidela Productions. Farhan and Ritesh are presenting the Hindi version of the film.
Ram Charan who is the producer of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy also shared a new poster and announced that a BTS video will be revealed tomorrow. He wrote, “It has been a phenomenal journey over the past 2 years. Get ready for a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes!!"

Southern superstar Chiranjeevi plays the Andhra freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy while Amitabh plays spiritual leader Gosayi Venkanna, guru to Chiranjeevi’s character. The period drama retells the story of the Kurnool-based freedom fighter’s battle against the British. Apparently, his revolt against the oppressive British Raj came much before the first revolt of Independence in 1857.
