Recently, reports surfaced that Aamir Khan’s younger brother Faisal Khan will be seen in the action-thriller Factory. However, what is interesting to note that according to a leading daily, Faisal is not only acting in the film but is also directing it. Yes, you read that right, he is making his directorial debut with the film.
Talking about the film, Faisal told the daily, “Direction was always on my mind, but this happened organically. We had another director (Sharique Minhaj) on board, but due to date issues, he couldn't continue. That's when I decided to step in. What is interesting is that my brother and mother (Zeenat) are aware of the film, but they don't know that I have turned director. I wanted to surprise them after finishing one schedule. I am waiting to see their reaction."
The thriller will also see Faisal croon and sing a song. Talking about his singing debut, Faisal said, “Sharique insisted that I sing the song. I had no qualms about turning singer." The song is titled Ishq Tera.
Faisal had ventured into films way back in 1994 with Madhosh but could not attain the success that his brother enjoys. Aamir also tried to boost his fledging career by starring with him in Mela bit the film was a colossal flop at the box office. The film also starred Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna as the female lead.
