Words fall short to describe the beauty and grace of the veteran actress and dancer Vyjayanthimala Bali. Vyjayanthimalaji, with her immense talent, not just won the hearts of the audience but of the critics alike and the result of this was shown through the number of awards she won during her acting tenure. But, despite she not being an active actress now, her charm continues to stay alive and we have proof. The Devdas actress, on the occasion of the 11th year of an award show in Chennai, named JFW Awards, 2019, hosted by a magazine firm by the same name, was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented to her by none other than actor Kamal Haasan, who is apparently a self-acclaimed fan of Vyjayanthimalaji.
Kamal revealed that he wanted to cast the actress in Vishwaroopam 2 but by that time Vyjayanthimalaji had quit acting. The actor, however, accepted her decision with all due respect. Now, when he was approached to present her the award, he made sure to be there for this iconic moment.

Vyjayanthimalaji has worked in blockbuster and evergreen films like Jewel Thief, Prince, Naya Daur and Nagin. Speaking of the accolades, she won three Filmfare Awards for Best Actress for Sadhna, Gunga Jumna and Sangam.
