On Sridevi's birth anniversary on August 13, Madame Tussauds Singapore announced the wax statue of the late legendary actress in her honour. And after much anticipation, it was finally unveiled today by her producer-husband Boney Kapoor along with daughters, actress Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The statue has Sridevi decked up in her popular and famous Hawa Hawai avatar from her film Mr. India. Nonetheless, the legendary actress has been immortalised with the stunning wax statue.
As a tribute to the acting legend and an immortal star Sridevi, they had also collected messages from all her fans across the globe and displayed on the tribute wall during the launch. The family seemed very emotional as they unveiled the statue and posed for the pictures. Check them out:
In fact, it was only yesterday that Boney shared a video on social media giving a glimpse of the making of the statue. He had tweeted, “Sridevi lives forever in not just our hearts but also in the hearts of millions of her fans. Eagerly waiting to watch the unveiling of her figure at Madame Tussauds, Singapore on September 4, 2019. #SrideviLivesForever."

For the unversed, Sridevi had started her career at the tender age of four years and went on to star as a leading lady in blockbuster hits such as Chandni, Lamhe, Mr.India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma, English Vinglish and Mom. She passed away in February last year due to accidental drowning in a bath tub during her hotel stay in Dubai.
