Hrithik Roshan recently appeared on the Hindustan Times Mint Asia Leadership Summit in Singapore. The actor who is basking in the glory of the success of his last release Super 30 spoke about myriad topics. Amongst the different things that he spoke about he also mentioned the feud that he shares with Kangana Ranaut.
It is pretty well-known that Kangana and Hrithik are at loggerheads with each other after the fallout. Kangana had often taken digs at him over the last few years. However, Hrithik has generally refrained from talking about the actress. However, at the summit, he did take a question about the actress and said, “What hurt me was that media gave attention to the audacity with which that certain person was indulging in lying and deceit.”
Hrithik and Kangana shared screen space in two films Kites and Krrish 3 and the actress alleged that they had an affair but Hrithik always refuted it. They even tried to ensure that their films Judgmentall Hai Kya and Super 30 do not clash at the box office. Judementall Hai Kya received rave reviews but did not garner too much money at the box office, whereas Hrithik’s performance and accent in Super 30 was questioned by many but the film kept the cash registers ringing.
Super 30 was based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and was made tax-free in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan that also helped in its box office collections.
