During the shooting of her come back film A Tribute To Rituparno Ghosh: Seasons Greetings, in Kolkata Celina Jaitly, was craving for authentic Bengali mishti doi. One day while for a photoshoot she saw the famous Mishti Hub near the highway and immediately stopped the car. Mishti Hub is one of the tourist attraction of Kolkata where you will find the sweets of almost all places of Kolkata and around.
Celina couldn’t come out of her car as the crowd were going crazy to see her. It was almost an impossible situation for her to get out so one of the crew members went inside Mishti Hub and came back with Mishti Doi from Krishnagar. Celina just finished it at one go as it was so delicious and was hoping to have more sweets but due to the crazy crowd, she couldn’t get out of the car. Finally, the security guard of the hub came in rescue of us and managed to handle the crowd. Celina came out of the car, thanked all the crowd for their love towards her. “ I was extremely overwhelmed by the response of the people in Kolkata. It has been almost a decade that I have left Kolkata but this is the city where I had started my career as a Model and stayed in this beautiful city for a couple of years. I have made friends here and I am still in touch with them. Being in the other part of the country sometimes I crave for authentic Bengali sweets which is not possible to get it where I stay so I always look for a chance to come back to this city to have mishti doi, rasogolla. Thank God that this time I was shooting for my friend director Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s film A Tribute To Rituparno Ghosh: Seasons Greetings I got a chance to sneak into city’s most attractive place Mishti Hub. I managed to have only one mishti doi from Krishnanagar but hoping to come back soon to explore the other sweet dishes”, said Celina.
