Akshay Kumar turned 52 years-old yesterday and received a plethora of wishes from Bollywood celebs and his millions of fans. The actor who is currently vacationing with his family posted a video today on his Instagram account where he expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards his fan clubs.
In the video, we get to see the star getting highly emotional as he says, “Meri ma kehti hai ki duaon se badhkar aur koi kamayi nahi hoti aur mujhe toh karoron duayen mili hai. Bahut bahut dhanyawad aap sabhi ka.” He captioned the video as, “Thank You For A Special Birthday! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! No matter how many ever times I say it, it’s not enough for all the love and wishes showered upon me. Still tried my best to show my gratitude. Thank you for making my day, each one of you.”
In the video, Akshay goes on to relate what his numerous fan clubs did to celebrate his 52nd birthday. From visiting old age homes to feeding homeless people, to visiting orphanages, to organizing self-defense classes for girls and women and even organizing a special screening of his last release Mission Mangal, the actor’s fan clubs had gone the whole hog.
