Luv Ranjan's 2018 released rom-com Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh proved to be a game-changer for all those associated with it. The film not just went on to become one of the highest grossers but also placed Kartik in the league of successful and bankable stars in the new generation of actors. As the film emerged victorious, it was inevitable that a remake would be considered and here we are! As per reports of a leading daily, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety will be getting a Telugu remake. The report further stated that actor Vishwak Sen, who made his Tollywood debut with Vellipomakey in 2017 has been roped in for one of the lead roles.
According to the report, the remake rights of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has been acquired by one of the leading production houses down South named Suresh Productions. However, there is no update on the rest of the cast and director.

Speaking of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, the film featured Kartik as Sonu, who is Titu aka Sunny's childhood best friend. Soon, their friendship is tested when the latter decides to settle down with Sweety, played by Nushrat. Coming to Vishwak, he was last seen in Falaknuma Das released this year.
