Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of late, has become the favourite personality in India, all thanks to his aura and charm. And considering this massive popularity that he enjoys, filmmakers are leaving no chance to narrate his tale and struggle to become the most followed and loved persons in the country on celluloid. The bandwagon of films and visual representation of Mr.Modi's life started off with Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi. Soon, the PM's story was adapted into a web series, titled Modi: Journey of a Common Man and now, it seems this trend of Modi-based films is getting more one addition. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, on the PM's 69th birthday today, announced a film revolving around his lesser-known facts and life stories. The film, titled Mann Bairagi is said to be a special one hour project. The poster of the film was digitally unveiled by Akshay Kumar.
Akshay, while unveiling the poster, wrote, "Happy to present the first look of Sanjay Leela Bhansali & Mahaveer Jain’s special feature, #MannBairagi on the defining moment of our PM's life on his birthday!"
Speaking more about the project, Sanjay, who is producing the film along with Mahaveer Jain, during an interview with a leading daily, said the film is 'well researched' and believed the story needs to be told. “The story was very well-researched, and the turning point of our PM’s life as a young man, really intrigued me. I felt that it’s an unheard story which needs to be told,” Bhansali told. Mann Bairagi is written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy.
Talking about Mann Bairagi further, the director and writer Ssanjay told, "For me, it’s a human interest story about the self-discovery of a person who went on to become such a strong leader of our country." Mann Bairagi is said to be an 'untold story from the life of the Prime Minister which has not been in the public domain so far' and is scheduled to release in Winter this year.
