Salman Khan left his fans upset after it was reported that he will not be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming project Inshallah, co-starring Alia Bhatt. It was said that the project got shelved due to creative differences between Salman and SLB. After it was announced that the film - scheduled to release on Eid 2020 - won't be going on floors, Salman had posted a cryptic tweet, "Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi," hinting at a possible film release.

On Wednesday, Salman made an appearance at the green carpet of the 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards held in Mumbai. When he was asked about Inshallah by the reporters, he said, "A film will definitely come on Eid. First, it (Dabangg 3) will come on December 20, then a film will come on Eid also," as reported by a news agency. Well, that's certainly good news!

Further, Salman revealed that Inshallah, which would have marked his first with SLB in two decades, will not happen with him. "Currently, Inshallah is not being made. Inshallah will be made but at least not with me," he mentioned. For the unversed, Salman had first worked together with the filmmaker in Khamoshi: The Musical (1996) and went on to work together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), co-starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Salman also had a brief cameo in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Saawariya.
Interestingly, at the event, he was accompanied by his Dabangg 3 co-star and daughter of Mahesh Manjrekar, Saiee. When asked to comment on her, Salman signed off by saying, "She is very good hence she is in Dabangg 3. Her father was in the first Dabangg. Strange thing is, many years ago, even Sonakshi was introduced in IIFA on a ramp and today its her."
