Marjaavan trailer launch: 'This is the first time in my career, I am playing a hero,' says Sidharth Malhotra

The makers of Milap Zaveri's Marjaavaan launched the trailer of their film today. The film, which stars Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh, promises to be an out and out action-drama. At the trailer launch event, the actors spoke about their film and their experience shooting for it.

At the event, Sidharth expressed his gratitude towards the film as he termed it as his first film where he is playing a "hero". He said, "Milap believes in the cinema we all grew up watching. I personally grew up watching cinema like this. This is the first time in so many years that I have gotten an opportunity to play a 'hero'. So, when I heard the narration and Milap Ji made me hear the dialogues, this was the first thing I got very excited about. Because I inspired to become a hero, watching big action heroes, doing action. This is the first time in my career, I am playing a hero."

Talking about Marjaavaan, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series) and Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment). Marjaavaan was earlier slated to release on November 22, 2019, along with Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala but will open at the theatres on November 8, 2019.
