Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was last seen in The Zoya Factor, co-starring Dulquer Salmaan. The film, an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel of the same name, failed to impress the audience and the critics. However, it looks like Sonam still has a reason to rejoice as she has reportedly bagged her next major assignment. According to a report in a trade portal, Sonam has been roped in by filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh for his next, which is a remake of a popular Korean film Blind (2011). Reportedly, the film will be a co-production between Ghosh’s production company and Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
What's more? The report added that the remake is going to be helmed by Sujoy's associate director Shome Majhika, who last worked with him on the super hit Badla. The rest cast and crew of the film will be finalised shortly and the film is expected to go on floors early next year.
