Sanjay Dutt’s Khalnayak, which released in 1993 and co-starred Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit, is still one of the most iconic Bollywood films. Years after its release, Sanjay recently confirmed that a sequel to the hit film is in the pipeline and even revealed that his production house has approached Tiger Shroff to play a vital role in the film. Directed by Subhash Ghai, the film also featured Jackie in the role of Ram, a policeman. When Tiger was asked about the sequel, he told a leading daily, “I have seen Khalnayak so many times and it is one of my favourite films but we haven’t confirmed anything yet. We have discussed a lot on working together.”
Furthermore, Tiger mentioned how he is looking forward to work with Sanjay although nothing is on papers yet. “It will be an absolute honour to work with Sanju sir because him being one of the biggest stars in our industry. I am a big fan of his and it will be an absolute pleasure to share the screen space with him. The talks are on but nothing is on papers yet,” he added.
