Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in December last year in a fairytale wedding at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. Although it has been 10 months since then, their wedding still manages to be the talk of the town. The 37-year-old actress, who is currently in India for the promotions of her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, recently made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show and was quizzed about her wedding.
Talking about it, Priyanka revealed that was very hands-on with the prep. “They flew down to India 10 days before the wedding to help with the preparations so that I could fulfil work commitments. In fact, Nick even fetched cylinders at one time,” PeeCee said during an interaction. Not just that, the Jonas family mistook the jaimala ceremony for a call to fight lifted her up to the tunes of dhol and nagadas. “Nick’s family felt like they had to act. So, they lifted him up and started pushing in,” the actress said, adding, "There were eight members from his side and only three from mine."
What's more? Priyanka was in a tell all mood and mentioned that Nick is currently hooked on to is the Varun Dhawan-starrer First Class from the film Kalank. “At one of his concerts recently, he made an entry to the song. That made me laugh out loud,” she said.
Priyanka's The Sky Is Pink, directed by Shonali Bose and co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, is slated to release on October 11.
