The makers of Jacqueline Fernandez and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Drive released its trailer this afternoon. From the looks of it, the film seems to be an out and out crime-drama. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film also stars Vikramjeet Virk and Sapna Pabbi. Sushant, Jacqueline, Vikramjeet and Sapna play the role of professional thieves in the film.
The trailer begins with Jacqueline challenging Sushant in speed racing. Sushant, on the other hand, offers the actress a deal to pull off a heist together at Rashtrapati Bhavan. What follows next is a series of flying cars, an overload of VFX and thievery that we may have never seen before.

Earlier this year, the makers of the film announced that the action-thriller will be releasing on June 28, 2019, but that seemed unlikely due to pending work. A source had revealed, “There are multiple reasons behind the film getting pushed so many times. There is huge VFX work involved in the film which needs to be complete. Plus, there might be a bit of patchwork or reshoot, depending on what the team decides on”.
The film which was supposed to release in September 2018 was reportedly slated to hit the theatres in June 2020. However, Karan announced recently that the release date is confirmed to be November 1, 2019, and it will now release on Netflix. Drive is a remake of the Hollywood film by the same name and is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
