Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one Prime Minister who has often expressed his support to the Indian Film Industry. Last year, he met several top Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and others and took a few landmark decisions as well. His swearing-in ceremony this year also witnessed a huge number of Bollywood biggies making it to event. Now, he has launched an initiative called Change Within. The event was graced by stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernadez, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu and many others.
The official Twitter handle of PMO India tweeted several videos and pictures of the stars including a video where Shah Rukh and Aamir spoke about interacting with the Prime Minister. Kangana said that it is great to see artists getting such respect and recognition from the government whereas Ekta applauded PM Modi for his knowledge about the industry. The event was reportedly organized by the film fraternity, to begin with their campaign to revive Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy. PM Modi launched the campaign and discussed ways with the stalwarts of the entertainment industry to mark the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
