Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, over 27 years in Bollywood, has managed to carve a place for himself in the hearts of millions with his acting skills and sharp looks. However, the unfortunate debacle of his December 2018 release Zero made the actor take a back seat on the work front. While Shah Rukh is currently enjoying a break from films, his fans have been waiting with bated breath for him to return on the silver screen as soon as possible. Considering this factor, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actor, during his 54th birthday celebration with media fraternity on Saturday, addressed about starring in box-office failures and spoke about his next projects. Shah Rukh told that the day his next will be announced, it will be his and his fans' birthday in true sense. He further added that he credits his films to his admirers. Talking about featuring or making poor films, the actor said he never tries for a bad film or a good film, but it happens unintentionally.
"I know a lot of people were writing on social media and media people keep speculating that I am announcing a film on my birthday, but the beauty of my films because of all you is. The day it will be announced will be our birthday. We have celebrated like that. More than that, I think I owe it to you. When I make a good film then, you feel really happy and when I make a bad film, you feel really sad. I understand and respect that. I never intentionally try to make a bad film but it just happens. Similarly, I never try to make a good film, it just happens," Shah Rukh told.
Shah Rukh's last few films including Fan, Jab Harry Met Sejal and the recently released Zero, despite a great star-cast, failed to ignite at the box-office, leading to colossal disappointment among fans and avid cinema watchers. After Zero, the actor has now taken the charge to host the television series Ted Talks India Season 2. On the film front, Shah Rukh is expected to collaborate with Rajkumar Hirani and South filmmaker Atlee Kumar for his next projects and shall make the announcement by next year.
