Varun Dhawan, in the past few months, has been making headlines for all the right reasons. The actor, who is keeping extremely busy with a lineup of interesting projects, not just grabs the limelight for his professional life but also his not-so-unknown personal life and relationship with fashion designer Natasha Dalal. Varun and Natasha, in the last few months, have been finding their names on the gossip headlines for their alleged wedding. So much so, despite frequent denials from Varun and his filmmaker father David Dhawan, the rumours failed to end. However, amidst all these speculations and stories, the pretty Natasha maintained a tight lip throughout. And now, during an interview with a wedding-beat magazine, Natasha finally broke her silence on her relationship and her future wedding with the Street Dancer 3D star. Natasha, during the interview, said Varun was her school friend and in their mid-20s they began dating when both of them realised their feelings for each other before she moved out of India for further studies. She then added that the wedding is on the cards but not right now.

"Varun and I were in school together. We stayed friends until we were in our mid-20s and then, I remember, we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that, I think, we realised we were more than just good friends. Marriage is on the cards eventually, just not right now," Natasha told.

Speaking of Varun and Natasha, reports did the rounds that the couple will be taking the plunge in December. Not just this, but it was even rumoured that Varun's upcoming dance-based film Street Dancer 3D was delayed by good two-three months to make way for the wedding festivities. However, the director of the film Remo D'Souza cleared the air and stated heavy post-production work as the reason for the push. Varun's father, David, in an interview with a leading daily, told, "I know everybody is eager to see Varun married; so am I. We all in the family would be happy when he gets married. Shaadi hogi khoob dhoom-dhaam se. But let's not make up dates and venues for the wedding. We will officially announce the wedding with all the details when it happens."

Workwise, Varun is currently shooting for David-directed Coolie No. 1 with Sara Ali Khan. The rom-com is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020. Soon, he will step into the shoes of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in his biopic directed by Sriram Raghavan. Street Dancer 3D with Shraddha Kapoor will open at the theatres on January 24, 2020.
