Isha Koppikar, after creating quite a stir in Bollywood with her impeccable dancing and acting skills, suddenly went missing out of action, leaving her fans sheerly disappointed. The actress to received fame and immense recognition with the song Khallas from Ram Gopal Varma's Company, took a break from the showbiz to start a family and embraced motherhood meanwhile. And now, after a long gap, Isha, having done a couple of web series including ALT Balaji's-Zee5's Fixerr, is all set to collaborate with Ram Gopal Varma, with whom she has worked in the past for yet another digital film. Isha, during an interview with a leading daily, told that she plays the role of a cop in the series which is the central character and resembles the one in the popular American thriller Narcos.
“Ram Gopal Varma has offered me a web series where I have a lot more to do than I did when we first worked together; that was just a song called Khallas that became a rage. Sadly, I was offered many so-called item songs after that, and I turned most of them down. I play a cop in Ramu’s series, which is one of the central characters in the series, like the cop in the American series Narcos. I played a cop in my last two films Looty and Kavacha, both in Kannada. Maybe I was a cop in my past life. I should change my name to Isha Cop-ikkar,” Isha told.
Apart from Fixerr, Isha was seen in the digital entertainment platform Gemplex's show titled Lovely Da Dhaba. Previously, Isha has acted in films like Pinjar, Don, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum and Ek Vivaah... Aisa Bhi. She joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) earlier this year.
