Akshay Kumar, who was recently shooting for an important action scene for Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop-drama Sooryavanshi in Mumbai, suffered a hand injury. The actor is said to have sprained a muscle in his left arm.
“He sprained a muscle in the left arm. The physiotherapist taped the affected areas and Akki continued to shoot,” revealed a source from the set. While no-one confirmed the news, the injury was visible on Akshay's arm in a video he shared online recently. Have a look:
Sooryavanshi is at its last stage of shooting after which the post-production will begin. A major chunk of the film was shot in Bangkok, Mumbai and Hyderabad. An action-packed climax scene was also shot in Hyderabad recently featuring all three heroes of Rohit's cop universe - Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay.
Speaking of Sooryavanshi, the film is directed by Rohit and produced by him with Karan Johar and Akshay. The film revolves around Anti Terrorism Squad Chief Veer Sooryavanshi, who will tackle the evil-doers in his unique way. Sooryavanshi stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead and will release on March 27, 2020.
