Sooraj Pancholi made his debut with Hero four years back, and since then the young lad has gone through several ups and downs in his personal and professional life. But now, the actor is back after four years with his next film Satellite Shankar. Needless to say, Sooraj can’t thank the makers enough for trusting him and giving him a role that he longed for. Satellite Shankar revolves around the adventures of a soldier on a journey towards discovering the length and breadth of the country during which he finds himself. The film stars Megha Akash and Palomi Ghosh too and takes the audience on their own journey of self-discovery as Sooraj unites the nation while exploring the beauty of our country.
Today, on Sooraj's 29th birthday, here's something the actor said on wanting to be in the army in real life too. When asked if he ever wanted to join the army, the actor gave an extremely honest reply and said, "It is a huge responsibility and I don't think I have the guts that a soldier has. I don't think I can take on the responsibility of taking care of the county. A soldier for me is bigger than any politician we have, they are like a free fighter. I don't know if I can fill up their shoes. But I have tried making my bit, my 1% bit by giving them back to what they give us with this film. Because it's the only film that's not on war. It's based on a soldier, a human who only wants to see his mother."
