From their impeccable chemistry onscreen to pulling each other's leg through hilarious social media banters in real, they just know how to win hearts. Now, as DeepVeer, as they are fondly addressed, clocked a year of togetherness, decided to bring in those two special days in a private and quiet manner. Deepika and Ranveer, on Thursday, after seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateswara at Tirupati, headed to Amritsar to offer prayers at the Golden Temple. The couple, with their respective families, will be visiting the pious place on Friday and post that, they will be returning to Mumbai on the same day.
Pictures of Ranveer and Deepika at arriving at the Amritsar airport went viral on fan pages dedicated to the couple. In the viral images, we can see the Bajirao Mastani co-stars twinning in black. For the journey to Amritsar, the couple kept it easy and comfortable.
Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in November last year in Italy with close family members in attendance. The wedding took place as per both, Sindhi and Konkani rituals. Upon returning to India, the couple held receptions for those who couldn't be a part of the wedding. Workwise, they will share the screen space for the first time after marriage in Kabir Khan's '83 where Ranveer plays the role of Kapil Dev while Deepika is his wife, Romi Dev.
