Now, as DeepVeer, as they are fondly addressed, clocked a year of togetherness on November 14 and 15, decided to bring in those two special days in a private and quiet manner by visiting the pious Tirupati temple and Golden Temple. The couple, on November 14, sought the blessings of Venkateswara Swami and then proceeded to Amritsar.
During their visit to Tirupati, Ranveer and Deepika, not just won hearts with their sweet Instagram post, but stole the limelight with their hilarious side after a video from the outing went viral. In the video, we can see Deepika and Ranveer walking out of the temple when a fan of theirs greeted the actress and told, "I love you madam!". Deepika, in response to this, flashed a bright smile and thanked the fan. The person, then exclaimed to Ranveer, "I love you bhaiyya!". The Gully Boy star sent across love and kisses. Soon, Deepika, in her hilarious best, replied to the fan by saying, "But you love me more!". Not just this, the Piku actress went on to tell her husband to not 'steal'.
Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in November last year in Italy with close family members in attendance. The wedding took place as per both, Sindhi and Konkani rituals. Upon returning to India, the couple held receptions for those who couldn't be a part of the wedding. Workwise, they will share the screen space for the first time after marriage in Kabir Khan's '83 where Ranveer plays the role of Kapil Dev while Deepika is his wife, Romi Dev.
