Chehre is an upcoming mystery thriller, which stars Amitabh Bachchan with Emraan Hashmi. The film is directed by Rumi Jaffrey and produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited. In a recent development, Kriti Kharbanda, who was shooting for the film already, has been cast out of Chehre and a new actress is all set to replace her. In fact, it was reported that Kriti's 'starry demands' made director Rumy and producer Anand show her the door.
Now Kriti has finally opened up on the entire fiasco and confirmed her exit from the film respectfully. "This is to clarify that @apmpictures and I have mutually and respectfully decided to part ways, contrary to reports suggesting otherwise. Wishing Anand ji and everyone at @apmpictures the very best," she tweeted.

Earlier, dismissing the reports of a fallout, the production house, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, issued a clarification saying the two "mutually agreed to part ways on a cordial and professional note". Ever since the news about Kriti's ouster ran wild, everyone expected the film's shooting to come to a halt - but it is far from it. Instead, Anand has already found another actress to replace Kriti and will announce the name soon.
In the light of recent media reports, we wish to clarify that @kriti_official & @apmpictures have mutually agreed to part ways on a cordial & professional note. We wish her success in all her future endeavours!
