Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi's Chehre has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement. Recently, the makers announced that Kriti Kharbanda who was also a part of the film is no longer working on the project. Taking to their social media, they stated that Kriti and makers have parted their ways mutually.
It all started when earlier this week, media reports suggested that Kriti's "starry attitude" and "unnecessary tantrums" led the makers to show her the door. Later, producer Anand Pandit and Kriti both cleared the air on social media stating that they have parted ways "professionally". Now, several reports are out with which actress will replace Kriti. Until yesterday two of the top contenders were Ankita Lokhanade and Mouni Roy and the latest one to join the league is popular TV actress Krystle D'Souza. It is being said that Krystle auditioned for the role and she was brought on board for the film. Mouni and Ankita are also said to be the frontrunners along with Krystle.
Meanwhile, the film is helmed by Rumi Jaffery and has been slated to release in April 2020.
