The verbal social media argument between Taapsee Pannu and Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel made headlines in the last couple of months. The controversy that took a sharp turn several times, became the hottest gossip in town with both the parties putting forth their point sharply. While Taapsee, time and again, told that statements made by Kangana and Rangoli against her don't bother her, it was during her recent appearance on Neha Dhupia's chat show No Filter Neha Season 4 where the actress touched upon the topic again and said sarcastically said that the Ranaut sisters indeed love her and give her the attention. However, she went on to take a dig at them and added she doesn't desire to 'waste' her time on someone who doesn't matter to her.
“Both of them really love me and that’s because they give me so much time and attention from their lives. I, honestly and unfortunately, I don’t feel the same so I don’t give it back in terms of my time and attention to them. It doesn’t matter to me in my life and my scheme of things. I don’t want to waste my time on someone who doesn’t matter to me,” Taapsee told.
Rangoli, in the month of July, on Twitter, went on to call Taapsee a 'sasti copy' of Kangana, which led to a major verbal argument wherein Anurag Kashyap jumped to Taapsee's rescue and defended her. In response to Rangoli's comment, Taapsee said, "I didn’t know there was a copyright on curly hair, which I was born with, and honest opinions. I’m not going to apologise for it. As far as being “sasti” is concerned, Kangana claims to be the highest-paid actress, so I guess I am the 'sasti' version."
