Sujoy Ghosh spun a web of intrigue and suspense with his thrillers Kahaani and Kahaani 2 that had Vidya Balan in the lead, and now the director is all set for the next installment in the film franchise. However, the third part will not have Vidya in the lead and recently the director hinted at another of his favourite heroines who just might make the cut. Going by the Twitter banter on the social media platform, Taapsee Pannu might just play the lead in Kahaani 3.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Sujoy shared a picture of Kaali Ghat metro station. He captioned the post as, ‘back to work...’ and soon Taapsee joined in the conversation pulling his leg. Their conversation raised quite a few eyebrows as she asked him where the script of the film is and he replied that she is the film herself. Take a look at the conversation below.

Sujoy and Taapsee have worked together on Badla that starred Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee in the lead. The film also featured Amrita Singh and had received a positive response at the box office. Badla was produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his production banner Red Chillies Entertainment.
