Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3' lands into trouble; Hindu Janajagruti Samiti demands halt on its certification

Superstar Salman Khan is back as the 'policewala gunda' Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 3. Going by the trailer, the film will take the audience to the time of Chulbul Pandey's life before he becomes a cop. There are some strong punches, kicks ad shirtless fight scenes in addition to romance. Directed by Prabhudeva, the film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Saiee Manjrekar and Kiccha Sudeep, who will be seen as the villain.

While the audience has been eagerly awaiting the film's release, Dabangg 3 has landed into trouble as the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has demanded the Central Board of Film Certification refuse the certification of the film. Claiming that the song Hud Hud Dabangg has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community and has degraded sages, the organizer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sunil Ghanwat for Maharashtra and Jharkhand, has questioned the makers, "Sadhus have been shown dancing with Salman Khan in a hideous and objectionable manner. As a result, the religious sentiments of all Hindus have been hurt. The way in which Salman Khan has degraded Sages, will he dare to show Mulla-Maulavi or Father-Bishop dancing similarly ?"

For those caught unaware, in the song, Salman can be seen dancing with sages on a river bank, followed by seeking blessings from three people who are dressed as the holy trinity - Shiva-Vishnu and Brahma. Now we await what the Dabangg 3 makers have to say on that!

The film is slated to release on December 20, 2019.
