Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra in Manali. They were recently joined by Amitabh Bachchan in the hill town. Confirming the same, a leading daily quoted a source as saying, “Amitabh Bachchan will be shooting in Manali for the next few days before he flies to a foreign location for another shoot in early December. The film’s antagonists, Mouni Roy and Saurav Gurjar, will also be part of the schedule."
Big B too shared his experience as he witnessed the simplicity of the small town and hospitality of the locals. “Tranquil .. essence of the freshness .. the winter feel, the purity hopefully of the air .. and a rest after 5am to now .. there is great humility and joy of felicitations en route .. the simplicity of the smaller town reigns supreme .. as does the generous hospitality .. we can never match their honesty and simplicity," he wrote on his blog.
However, he mentioned about his retirement, which surprised everyone. He wrote, “another new environ and another readjustment to room and its accoutrements. I must retire .. the head is thinking something else and the fingers another .. its a message.” Well, don't fret guys! Big B isn't retiring but only had plans to get accustomed to his new environment and rest before he commences his Manali schedule for Brahmastra.
Apart from that, he will also be seen as Gulabo Sitabo that is helmed by Shoojit Sircar.
