Vijay Deverakonda confirms entering into Bollywood, says he 'will make it soon'

Vijay Deverakonda is no new name to the Telugu cinema. Having blockbuster and award-winning films like Mahanati and Geetha Govindam to his credit, the actor undoubtedly enjoys a massive fan following down South. With Arjun Reddy, Vijay, who was only known to the audience of Telugu cinema, received recognition at the global level and became the talk of the town in Bollywood too. While several actresses in tinsel town drool over his handsome looks, the NOTA star, within a short span of time, became a favourite of top filmmakers, leading to speculations of him making his debut in Bollywood. And now, after much wait, Vijay confirmed that he will be stepping into Hindi films soon. Well, yes.

The actor, during his appearance at the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, addressed a fan's question on whether his next film will be a Tamil one or a Marathi project. In response to the question, Vijay said he will be making it soon into Bollywood. "I will make it soon into Bollywood," Vijay told.

However, the film with which Vijay will be making his Bollywood debut is still unclear but if buzz is to be believed, he will be working with Karan Johar on the remake of his recent release, Dear Comrade. The filmmaker, in the month of July, through an Instagram post, announced that he has acquired the rights of the Vijay-Rashmika Mandanna starrer film. Since then, rumours are rife that the Hindi version will mark Vijay's much-awaited Bollywood debut.
