'I am not one of the pack,' says Arjun Kapoor on his take on not being as good looking as Hrithik Roshan or have a body like Tiger Shroff

Arjun Kapoor, with every new film of his, never fails to step outside his comfort zone and experiment with an array of interesting roles. Be it the rugged and hot-headed Parma in Ishaqzaade or the sweet lover boy in 2 States, the actor has something unique to offer every time. Now, with Panipat, Arjun is all set to enter into a new territory and give an insight into the brave battle of Panipat on the celluloid. While giving an interview to a leading daily for the film, the 34-year-old handsome star, spoke about carving a niche for himself in the vast film fraternity and how his uniqueness set him apart from actors with a great body and looks like Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Adding about his tryst with erratic box-office performance, Arjun said that is a part and parcel of an actor's life. The Half Girlfriend star went on to say that he has survived eight years in Bollywood and wants to continue for another 80 years.

"I am an unlikely hero; not one of the pack. Comparative studies bahut hoti hai, but individuality is rarely accepted. Uniqueness is what made people accept me in the first place, because I was not like the other boys when I made a debut with a film like Ishaqzaade (2012). I did a role that a debutant actor is unlikely to play and have worked hard for my place in the industry. Even though acting happened by chance, I love being an actor and have never been disrespectful towards my profession. Hits and flops are part and parcel of every actor’s life. I can either try to fit in and fail or be myself and succeed eventually. I’d rather be myself. Yeh profession aisa hai ke log kho jaate hai. Maine dekha hai logon ko badalte huey. I am happy that I have survived eight years in the industry. I want to survive for 80 more years," Arjun told during the interview.
