As the nation was mourning the unfortunate and horrific death of a Hyderabad based veterinarian, who was raped and murdered in Hyderabad by a group of four, the Telangana Police, on Friday morning, gave a major surprise by announcing the accused dead during an encounter. As per reports, the accused named Mohammed Areef, Chintakunta Chennakesavulu, Jollu Naveen and Jollu Shiva, who were in the Police custody, were said to be taken to the crime scene to recreate the sequence of events as a part of the probe. During this, one of the accused reportedly snatched the gun and made an attempt to flee. The Police, out of self-defense, shot them dead.  With this encounter, the Telangana Police served justice to the late veterinarian.

Soon after the news broke out, film celebrities expressed their happiness through Twitter and applauded the Telangana Police officers for their act. Actors including Anupam Kher, Rishi Kapoor, Samantha Akkineni and Jr.NTR shared their congratulatory messages for the Police on Twitter. Anupam, on Twitter, hailed the Police for serving the right justice.
