Muhammad Khan an Indonesian actor who won the Piala Citra-an award for Best Actor in a Leading Role dedicates his trophy to Shah Rukh Khan after his momentous win. During the award ceremony held on December 8, Muhammad thanked Shah Rukh in his acceptance speech and said that he aspired to become and actor after watching the superstar’s films. He also expressed a desire to meet the superstar and also impressed everyone by speaking in Hindi.
He said, “I would like to thank the one and only King Khan. Shah Rukh Khan, I hope you are going to watch this video. Shah Rukh ji, main tumse kuch kehna chahta hoon. Mujhe tumse bohat, bohat pyaar ho gaya hai. Actually, you are the reason why I wanted to become an actor when I was 10. So, tonight, I would like to share this award with you as well. And I hope I can meet you one day.” He even regaled the audience by singing SRK’s 1998 hit song Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam from his film Duplicate. A video went viral of the actor crooning the song.

But the icing on the cake was when Shah Rukh replied to the tweet and sent out his wishes to Muhammad. He congratulated Muhammad for his emphatic win and wrote that he will meet him soon.
