Box-office clashes are integral and regular phenomena in Bollywood in the last couple of months. Be it a non-holiday release or a major festival opening, filmmakers are leaving no stone unturned to battle it out with their competitors on the commercial and entertainment front. Similarly, as 2020 is about to arrive, there are ample of dual releases at frequent intervals, creating the right amount of buzz. And one of them is the clash between Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb on Eid 2020. With two superstars battling it out at the box-office, the day will account for a major cinematic treat for the audience. Salman, who is currently gearing up for the release of Dabangg 3, during an interview with a leading daily, addressed the clash with Akshay. The actor, with a positive approach, told that multiple films release on Eid and it is the audience who will decide the fate at the box-office.
"There is scope for other two-three films to come on that day. Then, the audience decides which film to spend on. Agar picture achhi lagi, they will watch it. If they don’t, toh nahin dekhenge, festive date ho ya koi bhi date ho," Salman told.
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is an out-and-out action entertainer directed by Prabhudheva and stars Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles with Salman. On the other hand, Laxmmi Bomb is a horror comedy directed by Raghava Lawrence and will feature Kiara Advani opposite Akshay. The film is the Hindi remake of South blockbuster Kanchana.
