Suniel Shetty is back in the game as he plays the antagonist opposite Rajinikanth in Darbar. The actor made a comeback of sorts to Bollywood in Pehlwaan earlier this year after taking a sabbatical for four long years during which he tended to his ailing father. During the trailer launch of Darbar today, he was asked who should play Rajinikanth’s role if ever a biopic was made on him, to which Suniel gave a very interesting answer.

When Suniel was asked about which actor should play the role of Rajinikanth in his biopic, Suniel said, “Rajinikanth should play his own role in his biopic.” He also shared his feelings on getting an opportunity to work opposite Rajinikanth. Watch Suniel below.

Rajinikanth showered high praise on Suniel for tending to his father during his last days and taking a break from films.

Darbar also stars Nayanthara in the lead. It is directed by AR Murugadoss and is slated to release on Makar Sankranti 2020.
