It isn't an unknown fact that Katrina Kaif was roped in to star opposite Varun Dhawan in Remo D'Souza's Street Dancer 3D. However, after Priyanka Chopra Jonas backed out from Salman Khan's Eid 2019 release Bharat, Katrina stepped into the former's shoe, making her bid adieu to the dance based film. Soon, the makers roped in the gorgoeus Shraddha Kapoor for the role. Talking about the Katrina's replacement and Shraddha being roped in at Street Dancer 3D trailer launch held in the city on Wednesday, director Remo told he can't thank the latter enough and went on to say 'Shraddha ne hume bacha liye'. Varun further revealed that before the film fell into her kitty, the 32-year-old actress was upset as well as emotional for not considering her in the primary stage.
"Shraddha told me that ‘I am very upset with Remo and you that you didn’t offer me this film.’ Script kuch aur thi uss waqt and that’s why Remo sir didn’t think about her at that time. She was genuinely emotional about it," Varun told.
