Of late Ayushmann Khurrana has become the newest hit machine in Bollywood, whatever the actor touches turn to gold. He has had a stupendous run at the box office with his films that have all gone to mint money. He has had back-to-back hits since last year with films like Badhaai Ho, AndhaDhun, Article 15, Dream Girl and Bala. The actor's choice of films are such that he has become a frontrunner of 'hatke' films and they have all come tops at the box office, so much so that no actor wants to clash with him at the box office.
The latest film that is eyeing to change its release date and avoid a clash with Ayushmann's film is Rajkummar Rao's and Janhvi Kapoor's RoohiAfza that is slated to release on April 17, 2020. The film is apparently all set to clash with Ayushmann's Gulabo Sitabo. However, now, a leading daily has reported that RoohiAfza's producer Dinesh Vijan is contemplating moving the film's release date so that it doesn't get pitted against Gulabo Sitabo. An official announcement about the release date is expected soon. Apparently, Gulabo Sitabo was supposed to hit screens on April 24, 2020, but the makers moved teh release date earlier to April 17, 2020, that would clash with RoohiAfza.

RoohiAfza is a horror comedy while Gulabo Sitabo is a quirky drama. The latter also stars Amitabh Bachchan as a parallel lead with Ayushmann. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar and penned by Juhi Chaturvedi whereas RoohiAfza will see Janhvi play a double role for the first time that of twin sisters.
