Ishaan Khatter impressed everyone with his acting chops in 2018’s Dhadak and Beyond The Clouds. However, the actor was missing from the big screen in 2019 but looks like he is back with a bang as he shared the first look of his upcoming film Khaali Peeli opposite Ananya Panday.
He shared the first look on his Instagram account with just the caption, “Khaali Peeli”. In the picture, he is seen dressed as cab driver with a mustache while Ananya is his passenger. She is dressed simply with jhumkas, bangles and mehndi adorned hands and a worried expression on her face. However, the makers shared the first look with the caption, “Here's a new still from 2020 movie, #KhaaliPeeli! Film to release on June 12, 2020.”

Khaali Peeli also stars Jaideep Ahlawat as the antagonist. The film is reportedly a remake of southern star Vijay Deverakonda's superhit Telugu film Taxiwaala.
Khaali Peeli also marks the debut of Ali Abbas Zafar as a producer and has been helmed by directed Maqbool Khan. The film is slated to release on June 12, 2020.
