Deepika Padukone and Kartik Aaryan, of late, are seen indulging in some fun social media banter. From requests to learn dance steps to appreciating each other's work, the actors have been making headlines every now and then. Keeping up with the trend, Kartik, on Thursday, went out all over again and engaged in a conversation with Deepika through Instagram stories.
Kartik, on his Instagram stories, shared a collage with Deepika that brought out a vintage vibe. In that story, the actor threw a challenge at filmmakers to cast them together and asked them, 'Hai kisi director mein dum?' The actress, in response, joked about the pictures. Soon after, Kartik replied to her story by saying, 'Kyunki tabse qainaat iss koshish mein lagi hai'. Deepika then said, 'agar aap kisi cheeze ko sacche dil se chaho'. Well, this banter between Kartik and Deepika has added fuel to the rumours of their collaboration for a film.
Workwise, Deepika is gearing up for the release of Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, co-starring Vikrant Massey. The film that orbits around an acid attack survivor, is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020. Kartik will be seen with Sara Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali's next which will release on February 14, 2020. He is currently shooting for Dostana 2 and will get on to the sets of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 soon.
