It won't be wrong to say Salman Khan and Kabir Khan manage to create magic onscreen. The filmmaker-actor duo began their blockbuster association in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger and then, there was no looking back. Soon, they collaborated for the National Award-winning film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However, in an unfortunate situation, their third project together titled Tubelight failed to create a spark at the box-office. Post this, Salman and Kabir parted ways for their other professional commitments and gave birth to rumours of a fallout. Dismissing them, Kabir and Salman, if reports are to be believed, are in talks for their fourth film. Well, yes. A source close to the development informed a leading daily that Kabir has narrated a few ideas to Salman which have excited him. The source then told that things will be clear by June when the idea gets converted into a proper screenplay.

"Kabir has narrated some ideas to Salman, which the latter is excited about, but he is waiting for the final narration. There would be absolute clarity around Kabir and Salman’s film by June, once there is some movement to translate the discussed idea into a screenplay,” the source told.

Adding further, the source told that Kabir has several subjects for the film in mind which include an action-thriller and social-drama revolving around an Indian zookeeper who travels to China to bring back a panda to save his zoo. Informing that Salman might take a break from action-thrillers, the source told that this venture with Kabir won't be his immediate next. While concluding, the source added the film is still in the nascent stage wherein the duo is exchanging ideas. 

“Salman is considering multiple scripts. After back-to-back action, he might take a break from the genre if he gets the right script. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a landmark film for both of them, and they are excited for this reunion after a break of three-and-a-half years. Things are in the nascent stage with the two exchanging ideas,” the source added.

Workwise, Salman is currently shooting for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai co-starring Disha Patani. It will release on Eid 2020. Followed by this, he will get started with the sequel of Kick with Jacqueline Fernandez. On the other hand, Kabir is awaiting the release of his sports biopic on Kapil Dev titled '83 starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The film will release on April 10, 2020.
