With a stellar cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, the film has garnered the attention of the audience. Now, after many delays, the magnum opus is gearing up to go on floors soon and for the same, Karan has kickstarted the final recce. On Sunday, the filmmaker was in Rajasthan and shared updates on Instagram. Taking the journey forward, reports suggest that Karan will head to Europe to explore locations. A source close to the film informed a leading daily that massive sets will be mounted from Jaisalmer to Europe.

“Karan, along with cinematographer Mitesh Mirchandani, National Award-winning art-director Sabu Cyril and his assistant directors will be in the desert city for the next five days to extensively analyse the locations and plan the cinematography and set designs. He’d always planned to spend January on the final round of recce and will be exploring locations similar to the landscape of Rajasthan in countries across Europe. Massive sets will be erected everywhere—from Jaisalmer to Europe—for which a mammoth budget has been earmarked,” the source told.
