Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak has garnered the right amount of curiosity with its heartwarming trailer. Inspired by the story of Laxmi Agarwal who battled all odds and emerged as a winner, Chhapaak is one of the highly anticipated films of 2020. The trailer of the project, apart from leaving her fans stunned, touched the hearts of celebrities too. Among several, one was Kangana Ranaut, who, on Wednesday, through a video on her sister Rangoli Chandel's Twitter account lauded the trailer and sent out her best wishes.
In the video, Kangana spoke about the heinous act of acid attack and touched upon the courage her family gathered when her Rangoli was subjected to acid attack. She further thanked Deepika and director Meghna Gulzar for putting forth an important topic through Chhapaak. She hoped that with the film, acid attacks get eradicated.
The pain still lingers. Our family thanks team #chhapaak for a story that needs to be told! @deepikapadukone @meghnagulzar @foxstarhindi pic.twitter.com/drKN3i6GSP
