We have Nysa and Yug and now our family’s complete: Kajol recalls the tough times she and Ajay Devgn underwent in their marriage due to miscarriages
Kajol and Ajay Devgn are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Their love for each other has stood the test of time and their marriage is taken as a benchmark in the fleeting glamour industry where relationships are transient and prone to farce. Now, the two superstars are once again coming together on screen playing husband-and-wife in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Today, Kajol who is the more outspoken of the two revealed how she and Ajay met each other. She spoke about their special bond and the fact that there was no flamboyant proposal but they automatically knew that they were meant for each other. Their love story is how relationships should be. She said, “There was no proposal–we just knew we wanted to spend our lives together. We got married at home & gave the media the wrong venue–we wanted it to be our day. We had a Punjabi ceremony & a Marathi one!”
Talking about life with Ajay, Kajol said, “Life with him is content–we’re not too romantic or anything–we care for each other. If I’m thinking idiotic things, it’ll come out of my mouth without a filter & vice versa. Like right now I’m thinking that he owes me a trip to Egypt!” Kajol and Ajay have two children- Nysa and Yug and have been together for two decades now.
In their upcoming film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior Ajay plays the titular role of Tanaji Malusare while Kajol plays his wife Savitribai Malusare. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sharad Kelkar. It is directed by Om Raut and is slated to release on January 10.
